Lake Superior Area Realtors, Inc. (LSAR) Announces Resignation of CEO Maranda DeSanto, RCE, CAE

The Lake Superior Area Realtors, Inc. (LSAR) announces the resignation of Maranda DeSanto, RCE, CAE from her role as Chief Executive Officer. Ms. DeSanto has been a cornerstone of LSAR for 18 years. Joining LSAR as Administrative Assistant in 2004, she quickly developed a passion for association management and the real estate industry, moving through the ranks until becoming CEO in 2014. Her last day with LSAR will be May 31, 2022.
Ms. DeSanto played a key role in several bold initiatives for LSAR including its formation through the merger of the Duluth Area Association of Realtors (DAAR) and the Superior Area Association of Realtors (SAAR) in 2017. Her work while at LSAR has gained national recognition, designations, and certifications, most notably the AE YPN Leaders of Tomorrow Award from the National Association of Realtors.
Ms. DeSanto will be joining the National Speakers Association (NSA) as their Director of Member Experience. “I will always have a special place in my heart for Realtors and my Realtor AE friends,” DeSanto says. “They have taught me so much and for that I am eternally grateful. I am excited and honored for this exciting challenge and the opportunity to bring my knowledge and experience to NSA in my new role.”
The LSAR Board of Directors cannot thank Ms. DeSanto enough for her dedication, passion, enthusiasm, and leadership over the past 18 years. She will be greatly missed by the leadership, members, and staff of LSAR. LSAR is excited to follow Ms. DeSanto’s future success and looks forward to the next chapter for LSAR.
