July Community and Government News
We hope everyone had a safe and happy Fourth of July!

Our Government Affairs Committee has been monitoring discussions regarding short term rentals in the last two months. Considering these discussions and changes in our municipalities, the Committee requested a new resource for members. On their behalf, I’m pleased to announce a new Short Term Rental Resource that is intended to be informational for members and a starting off point to determine requirements in LSAR’s area of jurisdiction. Please keep in mind that rules and regulations change, so this will be a resource that is modified as new changes are discovered. Members that have information about their local requirements are encouraged to contact either Sara Ploetz, LSAR staff liaison for the GA Committee at 218-728-5676 or sara@lsarealtors.com or the GA Committee Chair, Gloria Allan with Guaranteed Rate at gloria.allan@rate.com with any new requirements.
